Following his separation from Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr. has spoken out.
In an interview with Page Six on Friday, December 13, Trump, 46, said, “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond.” “As the U.S. ambassador to Greece, I am extremely proud of her and the significant role she will continue to play.”
“She has been a national TV news star, an unbeaten prosecutor, a leader of the MAGA movement, and a close advisor to the president,” Trump continued. Greece’s citizens are receiving a true star, and the world will now witness it more than before.
Trump claims that Guilfoyle, 55, “deserves this ambassadorship more than anyone else.” Guilfoyle was selected by Trump’s father, president-elect Donald Trump Sr., to represent the US in Greece when his second term starts in January 2025.
Earlier this week, Us Weekly confirmed that Trump and Guilfoyle had canceled their engagement.
According to an exclusive source who spoke to Us, “Don and Kimberly broke up before the election and started to divide assets around the end of September.” The source also stated that the couple “never discussed” their breakup publicly in order to avoid drawing attention away from other “important issues.”
The insider also asserted that although “the breakup was amicable,” Trump was the one who ended the relationship.
The insider went on to say, “So is their relationship today.” “They simply had different objectives.”
Prior to their 2018 romance, Trump and Guilfoyle had been friends for many years. At his sister Tiffany’s wedding to Michael Boulos in 2022, he confirmed the engagement by popping the question two years later.
